Illinois Content Exams

All Illinois corps members must take a State specific content exam (exceptions apply if you are transferring your license from out of state). Illinois Content Exams must be passed by July 13th, 2025. Click the link below for your corresponding Certification Area to access study materials for your subject’s Illinois content exam(s).

You are expected to cover the exam cost on your own. If that is a financial barrier for you we offer the ability to get an early disbursal of a portion of your transitional stipend to help cover those testing costs. More info on this process coming soon. We expect that you give considerable effort in preparing for the exam so these funds do not go to waste.
