NLU’s Chicago campus on South Michigan Avenue occupies five floors of the historic Peoples Gas Building. This landmark building, across the street from the Art Institute of Chicago and Grant Park, is easily accessible by train, bus and car and is surrounded by restaurants, parking lots/garages and shops.

Cost

Tuition costs will depend on the subject you teach. After using the AmeriCorps award, out-of-pocket costs will range from around $4,000 to $8,145. See below for tuition guides for your corps year and then specific subject. We will release the 2025 Tuition Guides in Winter 2024/2025 but please use the 2024 resources below as a general guide. Some costs may increase.

As a reminder, for North Chicago Corps Members, TFA will cover your out-of-pocket tuition costs outside of your AmeriCorps award.
